For this Z SUPPLY shoot, we had the pleasure of seeing Carmen represent the brand, and we couldn’t be more excited about how it turned out. As VDM, we’re always looking for collaborations that feel authentic, and this one was the perfect match. Carmen brought so much warmth, confidence and personality to the set, and you can truly see it shine through in every image.

After the shoot, we sat down with Carmen and asked her a few questions about the experience, from the energy on set to her favorite look and the moments she won’t forget.

How would you describe the energy and vibe of the shoot day?

The energy was amazing. The team was so lovely and easy to work with, it almost felt like being on a trip with friends, even though we had just met. At the same time, everyone was focused, motivated and working hard to get the best possible result. I think that’s the perfect combination.

What was your favorite look or outfit, and why?

I really loved this look here:

I love playing different roles on shoots and wearing all kind of looks. But it’s always special when something really matches my own style. And this was definitely something I would wear myself.

Were there any challenges during the shoot, and how did you overcome them?

One of the biggest challenges was definitely the wild horses. I‘ve worked with horses before, but I don’t have much experience with animals like these. They‘re absolutely fascinating but I also have a lot of respect for them. On top of that everything has to move quite fast on a shoot. I love challenges though and this was an experience I definitely won’t forget.

What do you think makes this shoot unique compared to others you’ve done?

Definitely the location. It felt like a dream and reminded me how lucky I am to do what I do. But the team was just as important. Tjere was such a good energy and everyone brought so much talent and passion to the shoot. Being on location also gives you more time to really connect with the people which makes the experience very specil and it’s quite different from a one-day studio shoot.

What are you most excited for people to see when the final images are released?

I really loved that the shoot included both photo and video. the location was so beautiful that it felt hard to capture its energy in just still images. So I hope the combination helps people really feel the place, the clothes and feel in inspired.
